Country Side Minimalism
On the outskirts of Northern Sacramento lies a grid of straight roads that seem to go on forever. The flat land of the river valley and the climate make for perfect farming. Driving across these endless stretches of road, in a primarily “empty” landscape, the only exception seems to be an interruption by a barbed wire fence or a scattered line of telephone poles. These radom but very subtle interupptions in these empty squares of farmland, give the impression that the farmers must have been dillegent fans of minimalism…well maybe not, but I guess that’s the way I decided to make it look in my photos.
